PCGS Population Question
Hello,
Could someone with access to the PCGS reports copy and paste the reports for the 2008 1/10 Ounce Gold Eagle ($5). I'm interested to know how many FS MS70's there are. Thanks! |

I don't have access to the PCGS reports, but I did find this on another forum that I visit sometimes. http://forums.collectors.com/message...gold%20buffalo It looks like 346 were graded MS70, although that report doesn't list how many were first strikes. |
Re: PCGS Population Question
NGC $5 2008 W
EARLY RELEASE MS70 = 964 MS69 = 150 REGULAR RELEASE MS70 = 550 MS69 = 46 Can you see that the First Releases are actually HIGHER and drawing too much attention? I don't know. But the NUMERICAL MS70 regulars are half as rare (read twice as rare) as the first releases, right? |
Re: PCGS Population Question
That's weird (especially the difference between MS70's and MS69's). Is there any difference for the Non-W coins? What do you think the approximate price for a 2008 (non-W) $5 Gold Eagle MS70 First Strike would be?
Thanks! |
Re: PCGS Population Question
I checked and it was
542 2008 1/10 Oz MS70 First strikes and 66 2008-W 1/10 Oz MS70 First Strikes |
Re: PCGS Population Question
This is a 1/4 Oz that just sold recently. But im sure you could find a 1/10 oz that has sold recently as well
